Brompton and cateye have collaborated to create a powerful front light and mount specifically for your brompton folding bike. It is an excellent light though remembers the selected mode after switching off and it s really well thought out. Cateye has a full range of battery or rechargeable headlights safety lights and computers. I have a brompton cateye on one of my brommies it requires a bit of spannering as the supplied mounting bracket attaches between the brake mounting assembly.

The cateye volt400 is brighter than the previous 300 model while still being compact and usb chargeable. It offers a 400 lumen output and neat mounting to the front fork with the included bracket. The stitching was removed to reduce chaffing and a small hole appeared underneath ready for mounting a rear light.

In 2016 brompton started working with cateye to offer some new lights including the volt 300 so named as it has an output of 300 lumens which fits to the front fork with a special bracket included in 2018 it was updated to a brighter light output of 400 lumens this one note.
